Site help ...

We know that to be useful to as many readers as possible, it is important to keep these page sizes as small as possible. Although this service has undergone extensive testing, there could be a number of issues that frustrate some users , and we want to identify them, and work at fixing them.

We will post solutions to issues that come up, here.

The data ...

Most data will be found where it is described, however some classes of livestock have been combined on one site so you can make convienent choices and comparisons. Prime saleyard lambs are seen on the 'P' lamb page, whilst store lambs are viewed in "Y' lamb. Prime saleyard ewes can be compared in "M' mutton, while feeder calves are in the bobby calf page. Steers heifers and cows sold Prime at the saleyards can be seen in the P2 steer, P2 heifer and P2 cow pages respectively. Boner saleyard cows are seen in the Maufacturing beef page. All store cattle and store adult sheep have their own classifications.

For information what the schedule grades mean, we have provided links that allow a detailed description. Click on the underlined grade (ie M2 Bull) at the top of the page and you will be sent to a descriptive page giving you the details you may require. Access to these sites can also be achieved via the bottom of the page at..... go here >>>>

We will be adding additional animal groups (a broader menu selection), and other products, at a later stage.

We are especially interested to hear from you if ...
- you have more up-to-date information on either Schedule prices, or saleyard outcomes, or
- you can add specific additional information to the "Surcharge Notes". Price per kg is one thing, but a lot goes on in the realm of extras and deductions. Buyers and Sellers can make better decisions when these 'extras' are transparent.
